Originally from Cleveland Ohio, Ashley moved West to pursue her broadcasting dream in California where she enjoyed several years live on the air in San Francisco at Live 105 (The New Alt 105) and at 100.5 FM in Sacramento.

She has been a resident DJ at Fog City Entertainment since 2004 and purchased ownership of the company in January, 2020. Now she runs the show at Gold Country Entertainment as well.

Ashley’s professionalism, expertise, and love of music combined with her outgoing personality, illuminates her skills as an entertainer, emcee and DJ. Whether it is reading the crowd or specifically playing your favorites, Ashley is conscientious of your needs and enthusiastic to make your event a memorable experience.

In addition to her live radio experience, like a boss Ashley received her B.Sc. in Biology and graduated with honors from Stanford University. She subsequently researched honey bee ecology and published her findings in the journal PLOS One. Ashley also holds a M.Sc. in psychology, and works with a silicon valley autism nonprofit as their Research Director. She has published in Frontiers of Integrative Neuroscience. In her free time, Ashley enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and riding her motorcycle. Ashley is an animal lover, volunteer dog trainer, and regularly attempts to bond with her reluctant cat, Meijo.
